Regarding by many as the biggest prankster in Orioles history, the relief pitcher was infamous for using snakes, firecrackers, and “hot foots” to keep teammates on their toes and laughing throughout his major league career.

Drabowsky once called the Kansas City Athletics bullpen imitating his former manager Alvin Dark and instructed a former teammate to begin loosening up — the pitcher complied — before he called back a few minutes later to tell him to sit down.
