6. Moe Drabowsky

Regarding by many as the biggest prankster in Orioles history, the relief pitcher was infamous for using snakes, firecrackers, and “hot foots” to keep teammates on their toes and laughing throughout his major league career.

Drabowsky once called the Kansas City Athletics bullpen imitating his former manager Alvin Dark and instructed a former teammate to begin loosening up — the pitcher complied — before he called back a few minutes later to tell him to sit down. He was then discovered calling a third time trying to get Lew Krausse to begin throwing again.

The late pitcher even victimized baseball commissioner Bowie Kuhn with a hot foot during the 1970 World Series, proving there were no limits for this beloved goofball and hero of Game 1 of the 1966 World Series.
