First elected to the House of Delegates in 1966, the local statesman Ben Cardin will complete his public service to our citizenry 16 years after heading to D.C. as a Maryland Senator. Joining Nestor at MACO in Ocean City, the Baltimore champion says he’s got plenty left to do before he departs The Capitol in January 2025.

Rumbling back to the beach and Dewey after all these years

The ’80s are coming back! Philadelphia rock legend Tommy Conwell only puts the Young Rumblers back on the road for special occasions. On Sunday, July 23rd, the original members will all reunite for a special show at the Bottle & Cork in Dewey Beach. For the love of DJ Batman, Ocean City and all of those Hammerjacks memories, we still believe in Conwell.

Maryland Crab Cake (and Brewery) Tour Day 19: Longboard Cafe and Sinepuxent in Ocean City on MaCO guest day at beach

Day 19 of the Maryland Crab Cake Tour sent us back to the beach and a day of MaCO Conference and chats with politicians and leaders in Ocean City. Our crab cake at Longboard Cafe honored our pal Batman and we got wet with a local at Sinepuxent just over the Assawoman Bridge.

The seventeenth day of the Maryland Crab Cake Tour presented by The Maryland Lottery, Goodwill, Window Nation and the Restaurant Association of Maryland featured a day at the beach and stop at Crabs-To-Go in Berlin and some local attention on the farm at Burley Oak Brewing.

Mayor Jake Day and a whole contingent at Fratelli’s were very kind to us. So kind that the Secretary of Kindness came by for a chat, too.
