The ’80s are coming back! Philadelphia rock legend Tommy Conwell only puts the Young Rumblers back on the road for special occasions. On Sunday, July 23rd, the original members will all reunite for a special show at the Bottle & Cork in Dewey Beach. For the love of DJ Batman, Ocean City and all of those Hammerjacks memories, we still believe in Conwell.
Day 19 of the Maryland Crab Cake Tour sent us back to the beach and a day of MaCO Conference and chats with politicians and leaders in Ocean City. Our crab cake at Longboard Cafe honored our pal Batman and we got wet with a local at Sinepuxent just over the Assawoman Bridge.
The seventeenth day of the Maryland Crab Cake Tour presented by The Maryland Lottery, Goodwill, Window Nation and the Restaurant Association of Maryland featured a day at the beach and stop at Crabs-To-Go in Berlin and some local attention on the farm at Burley Oak Brewing.

It was a double cake day on the Eastern Shore as Nestor and family head to Smith Island to make a legend chocolate cake and drop by The Narrows on the way home for a crab cake and Kent Island hospitality.

On the 20th day of the Maryland Crab Cake Tour, Nestor got his first chance to experience the MACo conference of all of the state’s stakeholders at the beach and chat with a wide group of folks trying to make The Free State better.
On Day 4 of the 1st Maryland Crab Cake Tour in August 2021, Nestor awakened in Ocean City and moved west to Salisbury for an afternoon of civic discussion about the town everyone passes on the way to the beach. Mayor Jake Day and a whole contingent at Fratelli’s were very kind to us. So kind that the Secretary of Kindness came by for a chat, too.
