The eighteenth day of the Maryland Crab Cake Tour presented by The Maryland Lottery, Goodwill, Window Nation and the Restaurant Association of Maryland featured a westbound trip from Ocean City back to Baltimore with a stop at legendary Suicide Bridge Restaurant and RAR in downtown Cambridge.

The fifth day of the Maryland Crab Cake Tour presented by The Maryland Lottery, Goodwill, Window Nation and the Restaurant Association of Maryland was an after work trip to the place we felt we needed to explore more after last year’s tour: Frederick. This time, we started at Dutch’s Daughter and found two downtown breweries in Idiom and Brewer’s Alley to explore life after dark in Frederick

1st Maryland Crab Cake Tour: Day 23 Coming home to the comfort of Costas Inn and the best ‘cake in Dundalk

On the 23rd day of the Maryland Crab Cake Tour, Nestor came home to Baltimore County and the legendary deliciousness of Costas Inn in Dundalk. The family has been serving my community for over 50 years and it was Mom’s favorite place to be on Mother’s Day for fried crab cake, cole slaw and fries.

After all of these years, finally eating Scunny’s Nacho Mama’s Crab Cake.

It got a little emotional as Nestor told some Scunny tales from Canton and some Nacho Mama’s memories while later admitting he really needed a Natty Boh to wash it down. We’ll save that one for Mama’s On The Half Shell in Canton later on the Maryland Crab Cake Tour.
